Our thrift shop is located at 5693 Cowrie Street in Sechelt. It is staffed totally by volunteers from the membership of all six branches. It is the main fund raising arm of the auxiliary. Our loyal customers all value their shopping experience with us, coming back time and time again.
Help is always needed. Most of the volunteers give us three hours a week and some come to work the whole day. The morning shift is from 9-12 and the afternoon shift is from 12-3. Crews work Monday to Saturday, so if you are an auxiliary member you can pick your day. You can call the Day Manager at the shop () if you'd like to work a weekday or check with your branch's Thrift shop rep to sign up for your branch's Saturday shift. St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop
Our community donates goods to the shop generously and faithfully. As a result our task of sorting and pricing is never ending. It takes many hands to keep on top of the work. As much as possible we recycle items that we can't use.
